SEATTLE, March 25— Part of the skull of Marcia Moore, a psychic and writer who disappeared two years ago, was found in a Seattle suburb, the authorities reported yesterday.
The identification was confirmed through dental records, a sheriff's inspector for Snohomish County, Jim Scharf, said.
''There is no evidence of foul play, but we are still searching for other bones and clues,'' Mr. Scharf said. The skull was found Friday by workers clearing a lot in Bothell, a north Seattle suburb.
Miss Moore was 51 when she disappeared on Jan. 14, 1979, from her home in Alderwood Manor, a few miles north of where the skull was found. She was the daughter of Robert Lowell Moore, founder of the Sheraton Hotel chain, which was sold in 1968 for $200 million. Her brother, Robin Moore, is the author of ''The Green Berets.''
Miss Moore was married to Dr. Howard Sunny Alltounian, 43, an anethesiologist at the Seattle Public Health Service Hospital, who has since moved to Detroit.
The couple gained notoriety for their experiments with an anesthetic drug with mind-affecting properties. In 1978, they published a book on the experiments, ''Journeys Into the Bright World.''
At the time of his wife's disappearance, Dr. Alltounian said, she had been taking two 50-milligram doses of the drug, ketamine hydrochloride, a day for 14 months.
