"The band's members see Rage Against The Machine as a vehicle to express their political beliefs and inform their listeners about social inequality and the United States' foreign policy. The bands political views are left winged and revolutionary aswell as strongly anti-capitalistic. Every Bandmemer is active in political organisation or participated in demonstrations or protests. The band are vocal supporters of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), a guerrilla army who represent the poor indigenous communities in southern Mexico.
