The United States invaded Rwanda, it began in October 1990, culminated in 1994, in a coup d’ etat, we assassinated two Presidents. This was CIA work and Paul Kagame. And this led to the invasion of the Congo and the current state of affairs there now. ---[2009 Interview] US Role In Rwandan Genocide
Hillary Clinton should be indicted for war crimes. She should be brought up in a criminal tribunal and put on the stand. And we should be told who was involved in the war crimes in Central Africa from 1994 to 2001. And the assassination of all these people and the massive killings. So we can name these officials. Susan Rice is another one. She’s the architect. Susan Rice and a guy named Roger Winter are the architects of genocide in Rwanda. They should not be in the foreign policy establishment in any sense of the word. And, by the way, this is exactly what we’ve seen going down in Sudan. It’s a guerilla war, it’s backed by the Pentagon. It’s using Uganda as a proxy army, and also Chad and also Egypt. And creating this propaganda that the government of Sudan is creating genocide. When, in fact, we are all over it. It doesn’t look like that at all. It’s war. It’s open war.”---[2009 Interview] US Role In Rwandan Genocide
The Pentagon invaded Rwanda using Uganda. There were almost no Rwandans involved in the invasion of Rwanda from 1990 to 1994. The idea that there were all these Tutsis in exile who deserted. That’s the whole Jews thing. The Jews are a people without a State. They made this article up about the Tutsis. A people without a State. So the Tutsis have been given this moral currency as being supposedly the victims of genocide. To get away with absolute murder. And we’re talking from 1990 to 1994. Millions and millions of people being killed in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, because of this relationship. And so Kagame, and Paul Kabarbai, and Lawrence Nkunda and some other top officials are responsible for some of the worst crimes against humanity, genocide and war crimes in the history of the world. And this is completely unknown. Because as soon as someone like me and you or anyone, especially a Rwandan comes along and says this they are accused of genocide and they’re accused of being a genocide denier. Because the average listener out there has heard over and over and over again, through the media, through Hollywood, through Philip Gourevitch, through The New Yorker, etc. etc., that there was one hundred days of genocide. 800,000 Tutsis were killed. And the Kagame regime stopped the genocide. Which is completely upside down. And so today you’ve got Kagame, he sent out three hundred agents in the world, they’re tracking down anyone who speaks against the Kagame regime. As they just did with this professor from [Inaudible] College, in West Virginia, in the United States who was just arrested and targeted by the Kagame regime and never involved in genocide. There is no remote connection with this poor fellow, with genocide in Rwanda. And this is how the Kagame machine, with its very tight relationships with Clinton officials and Bush officials.” ---[2009 Interview] US Role In Rwandan Genocide
December 18th, 2008 the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, the ICTR, determined that there had been no systematic genocide in Rwanda in 1994. There was no conspiracy to commit genocide. Now this was their finding in December of 2008. They, there fore, cleared the top officials…They did sentence them to life in prison because the ICTR has always been about victor’s justice. Victor’s justice means that “We Won, the United States invaded Rwanda,” 1990 to 1994, the was a coup d’ etat. The United States, the Pentagon took control and put its proxy army in power. That’s the people who are in control today, Paul Kagame, and we blamed all of the killing on the Hutus and accused them of genocide. And that’s just total fiction. And this fiction has been created and propagated by people like Ben Affleck, who goes in and doesn’t tell you any of the truth…'But then there was Philip Gourevitch who wrote the book, “We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow our Families will be killed,’ and some many people have read this piece of fiction, believing that its non fiction. And that basically was Clinton administration operatives providing information to Gourevitch, who was writing in the New Yorker, and claiming the Kagame and Usemini were the new breed of African leaders, and essentially covering up a Genocide. Most people believe and we all stood around when genocide happened and we should never have let this happen. We should never have that happen again.'---[2009 Interview] US Role In Rwandan Genocide
[2008] Israel and the Ongoing Holocaust in Congo by Keith Harmon Snow The diamond jewellery trade in the United States is more than $30 billion annually, and 99%—everything that is not synthetic or artificial diamonds—involves blood diamonds and the above organized crime syndicates. Israel buys more than 50% of the world’s rough diamonds, and the U.S. buys two-thirds of these. The diamond factories are located in Nethanya, Petach Tikvah, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Jerusalem, and other cities around the country, but most of the offices were in Tel Aviv in the financial district on Ahad Ha'am Street
[2007] HOTEL RWANDA Hollywood and the Holocaust in Central Africa by Keith Harmon Snow Hotel Rwanda is merely the latest production in a protracted campaign of psychological warfare. It is a dangerous work of agitation propaganda because it wets the wide and naive eyes and touches the open and caring hearts of Western viewers. It is deceptive and when viewers depart the cinema with popcorn and chocolate stuck between their teeth they leave thinking they know something about what happened in Rwanda. We as viewers enjoy the idea that we are being educated, when instead we are being indoctrinated, and the insidious effects of the indoctrination are unappreciated. Hotel Rwanda exemplifies the careless, simplistic reductionism that is universally manifest in the West’s representations of Africa.
President Clinton ordered or sanctioned the Pentagon’s Operation Infinite
Reach, an illegal cruise-missile strike on Afghanistan (50 cruise missiles) and
Sudan (25 cruise missiles), destroying a purported chemical weapons facility at
the Al Shifa pharmaceutical factory in August of 1998. Sudan at the time had
been designated a terrorist state by the Clinton Administration. Britain
supported the attack, and the lies that were used to justify it. The plant,
which had its official opening in June 1997, was privately owned and partly
financed by the Eastern and Southern African Preferential Trade Association. Al-Shifa
was extremely important to the Sudan: it had raised the country's
self-sufficiency in medicine from about 3% to over 50%. It produced 60-90% of
the drugs used to treat the Sudan's seven leading causes of death; malaria and
tuberculosis are at the top of the list. Al-Shifa also produced virtually all of
the country's veterinary medicine. The Sudan has very large herds of camels,
cattle, sheep and goats, all vital to the economy and food supply, and all
susceptible to treatable infestations and diseases.
The plant was bombed in August of
1998, after one year in operation, and the message was clear: there will be no
independent economic players impinging on Western pharmaceutical profits and
their global empires.--[2007
Feb] Oil in Darfur? Special Ops in Somalia? The New Old "Humanitarian" Warfare
in Africa by Keith Harmon Snow
“The biggest terrorists in the world are getting away with absolute murder at this very moment…. Their names aren’t even known in the media, like Maurice Tempelsman.”
Belgian-born Maurice Tempelsman
has a long and bloody history in Africa. When Congo’s first Premier,
Patrice Lumumba, pledged to return diamond wealth back to the newly independent
Congo in the early 60’s, Tempelsman, who began with De Beers in the 1950’s,
helped engineer the coup d’etat that consolidated the dictatorship of 29
year-old Colonel Mobutu, and the coup against Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah; diamonds
were at stake in each.
“I believe this was the beginning
of what we now know of as conflict diamonds in the Congo,” says blood diamond
expert and investigative journalist Janine Roberts, author of the book Glitter
and Greed: The Secret World of the Diamond Cartel. “From then on diamonds would
be extensively used to discreetly fund wars, coups, repression and
dictatorships, in Africa.”
Maurice
Tempelsmanis Chairman of the American Jewish Congress, a Zionist pressure
group that claims it works closely with the Israeli military. SEC filings show
that LKI directors are high-rolling Zionist lawyers and investment bankers: one
director belongs to the law firm that once represented President Kennedy—another
Tempelsman friend. LKI is also connected to the euphemistically named United
States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Tempelsman empire remains rock solid behind Leon Tempelsman & Sons, De
Beers, and Lazare Kaplan International—supplier of Tiffany’s and Cartier’s
diamonds.--[2007]
Chloe's Blood Diamond by Keith Harmon Snow
In the mid-1980’s today’s
President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni seized
power in a bloody conflict. Fighting alongside Museveni were Tutsi soldiers who
would later go on to overthrow the government of Rwanda, in a low-intensity
conflict that began in October 1990, and culminated in the spectacle of the
Rwanda genocide of 1994. Powerful corporate, intelligence and defense interests
from the United States backed both insurgencies.
Museveni also sent his bloodthirsty
troops into Congo. Millions of innocent people died under Ugandan occupation,
while Museveni and his gang plundered Congo’s natural resources, raped women and
whipped up killing fields scattered with skeletons.
But Museveni is someone’s “Golden
Boy,” just like Uganda was always Britain’s “Pearl of Africa.”
President Yoweri Museveni has
controlled Uganda for more than 20 years in a one-party dictatorship friendly to
powerful corporate interests predominantly from the United States, Britain and
Israel.
But years ago, up in the north of
Uganda, the Museveni government herded the minority Acholi people into forced
settlements—they called then “refugee” camps—under the claim that the government
was providing protection from rebel forces supposedly hostile to the Museveni
government. They became death camps, and they are death camps still.
For years Museveni’s low-intensity
war against the Acholi people has waged on, completely out of sight, while the
army of Joseph Kony—the evil Christian forces of the Lord’s resistance Army—was
the only party ever accused of anything. The LRA is purported to be a rebel army
opposed to the Museveni regime, but this is a convenient ruse that serves the
dictates of a permanent warfare economy.

ANOTHER WHITE PEOPLE’S WAR FOR OIL by Keith Harmon Snow
The “partnership to combat malaria and HIV/AIDS” is camouflage language for military vaccination and bio-warfare programs involving pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer, the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, USAID, and “humanitarian” philanthropies.1 A vaccine for malaria was developed for the U.S. military some time ago and this is shared only with certain U.S. client state partners, though “clinical trials” have been undertaken in public using African “volunteers.”2 [2007] Darfurism, Uganda and the U.S. War in Africa - The Spectre of Continental Genocide by Keith Harmon Snow
The Ogaden, Oromo and Anuak regions of Ethiopia have seen massive military occupation and state repression. The Ethiopian government of Meles Zenawi has perpetrated mass starvation and scorched earth policy in the region. There has been very little international media coverage and most is favorable the Zenawi regime or pressing the upside-down stories about “relief” and “starvation” that serve the Western “humanitarian” business sector. The Ogaden basin is a bloodbath today. Applying the same legal standards as in Darfur, all three Ethiopian regions qualify as ongoing genocides against indigenous people.49 Failure to apply the genocide standards constitutes genocide denial. These covert wars all involve different propaganda
strategies to provide cover and deflect attention through “perception
management”—managing the perceptions, stereotyping and creating false belief
systems—of the North American and European public.
The numbers of refugees and
internally displaced persons across the region are staggering and they are
indicative of a cataclysmic regional crisis in sub-Saharan Africa. This is not
because refugees, insurgency and guerrilla warfare are inherent to Africa:
refugees and IDPs are big business for white systems of power that maintain
structural violence based on profits and the globalization of poverty, terror
and war. The numbers are staggering, and these are not merely statistics, they
are about suffering human beings.
United Nations agencies report some
4,700,163 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Sudan—2,152,163 in Darfur and
2,276,000 in Northern Sudan—with some 686,311 refugees out of Sudan.

The Spectre of Continental Genocide by Keith Harmon Snow
These humanitarian emergencies involve massive
depopulation and death, internally displaced persons and trans-national
refugees, all of which provide a lucrative business opportunity for Western
“relief” and “development” organizations. The business of AID is a racket.
Weapons sales are a racket. The people who suffer are different from the
industries, the providers of services, equipment and expertise who profit from
these crises. Like most weaponry, landmines are predominantly manufactured in
white economies of North America and Europe and, scandalously, it is the
companies from the same white economies who have a lock on UN landmine removal
contracts worth billions of dollars a year. The so-called “humanitarian relief”
business is an industry that relies on the creation of markets. Millions of
people across the region are dying, while millions more are homeless, set adrift
in a sea of nowhere, with no rights, no possessions, no protection and very
little prospect for survival; their only hopes come from the false belief that
the Western “humanitarian” AID enterprise is designed to rescue them.
The engagement of the world’s
premier war-making industries—Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Bechtel, SAIC—behind and
within a so-called “peacekeeping” platform is not new, and something is
seriously wrong with this picture.

The people most responsible for atrocities in the
region—unprecedented human bloodletting, war crimes, crimes against humanity,
and genocide—are protected. These include Yoweri Museveni, Salim Saleh, Paul
Kagame, James Kazini, Moses Ali, James Kabarebe, Taban Amin, Jean-Pierre Bemba,
Laurent Nkunda, Meles Zenawi… a long list of people whose culpability is without
question, many of whom have been named for atrocities again and again. U.S.
Special Operations forces know what happened and should be deposed under oath in
a legitimate International Criminal Court, which at present does not exist, and
is not in the making. Ditto for Madeleine Albright, Anthony Lake, Thomas
Pickering, Susan Rice, John Prendergast, General William Wald, General Frank
Toney, Walter Kansteiner, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Holbroke, Roger
Winter, Frank G. Wisner, Andrew Young… another short list.

Foley Hoag LLP is also tied to the U.S.-Uganda Friendship Council. On May 6,
2002 in Washington D.C. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and wife Janet were
special guests at U.S.-Uganda Friendship Council event sponsored by members
Coke, Pfizer and Chevron-Texaco. Museveni also met with President Bush at the
White House. Coke director Kathleen Black is a principle in the Hearst media
empire, while Coke directors Warren Buffet and Barry Diller are directors of the
Washington Post Company, and these are the media institutions that whitewash
client regimes, corporate plunder and Pentagon actions. Of course, Coca Cola
covets the gum Arabic potential of Darfur, and Coke is a client of Andrew
Young’s PR firm Goodworks International. Uganda’s image is sanitized by one of
the world’s largest PR firms, London’s Hill & Knowlton. In 2005 Uganda spent
some $700,000 on a Hill & Knowlton contract to facilitate and “encourage
dialogue between the Ugandan government and people like Human Rights Watch,
Amnesty, Oxfam.”26

[2009 Jan] Ben Affleck,
Rwanda, and Corporate Sustained Catastrophe by Keith Harmon Snow Since 2001,
actress Angelina Jolie has been UNHCR’s ‘Goodwill Ambassador,’ a role that took
her to eastern Congo in 2003 and 2004. Jolie traveled in eastern Congo with
intelligence insider and International Crisis Group agent John Prendergast, who
is aligned with a growing army of ‘Save Darfur’ cloned organizations that deploy
state-of-the-art media technologies to undermine and co-opt any true grass roots
movement to legitimately empower African people. Jolie also starred as a
‘selfless’ hero working as a UNHCR official in Hollywood’s Beyond Borders,
a film that peddles the necessity of mixing Central Intelligence Agency
gun-running operations with humanitarian missions—because it is ostensibly for
the ‘right’ cause: Western sponsored covert interventions.
Hollywood stars from the film Ocean’s Thirteen
formed another ‘humanitarian’ organization that inevitably throws celebrity
raised funds at the western structural violence and white power economies
focused on sustaining disaster in Africa. The governing board of Not On Our
Watch includes Ocean’s Thirteen stars George
Clooney, Brad
Pitt, Don Cheadle, and
Matt
Damon—Ben Affleck’s
buddy ‘Will’ from the film Good Will Hunting—and producers Jerry
Weintraub and David Pressman.
Clooney recently joined John Prendergast, a U.S. National
Security apparatus insider, and Hollywood producer David Pressman to pen a
Wall Street Journal Op-Ed, opining all the usual trite platitudes—but
absent a single recommendation of substance—about how President Obama can help
Congo. Prendergast, who is billed as a ‘leading American human rights activist’,
has previously boasted of traveling around Sudan and Central Africa with
President Paul Kagame, and he is named as one of the early architects of the RPA
coup d’etat in Rwanda.
The entire exercise of appointing and fronting Hollywood
celebrities as United Nations ‘Messengers for Peace’ and ‘Goodwill Ambassadors’
is a further means by which the establishment whitewashes the war-making and
plunder of multinational corporations, and the individuals responsible for
carnage the world over, and to more deeply institutionalize the structural
violence. Described as ‘helping to shine light on the world’s trouble spots’,
celebrity actorvism is more like a cop shining a bright light in your eyes so
that you are disoriented, confused and blinded.
Privatizing the ‘humanitarian’ sector through media
celebrities or through entertainment and publicity extravaganzas—like ‘Food AID’
and ‘Band AID’ and ‘Not on Our Watch’—that falsely claim to benefit African
people, simultaneously lets governments off the hook, obscures the true intent
of predatory capitalism, and creates personality cults that further entrench
white ‘society’ pathologies of obliviousness, ignorance, goodness and supremacy
