INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MAKING AN ORGONE GENERATING DEVICE
An orgone generating device consists
of orgonite, which is a man-made concoction of resin,
metal shavings, and
quartz crystals. The original orgone generator, developed by inventor Don Croft
and dubbed the "Holy Hand Grenade (HHG)", is cone-shaped, at least 4" inches
tall, with five
double-terminated crystals embedded in the resin matrix: one
double crystal centered and pointing toward the tip of the cone, and four other
crystals in the base of the cone, perpendicular to the bottom end of the central
crystal. Cone shaped orgone devices function very well and are pleasing to look
at; however, orgone generators can be poured into any shape: cylinders, wands,
pyramids, etc. Easy to find molds are: plastic funnels (cut off the spout and
tape the end); paper dixie cups; muffin tins, etc. (One ambitious fellow poured
a giant cone-shaped device in a traffic cone!).
What you will need:
Resin. Polyester/fiberglass is cheapest (around $25/gallon) and works
fine. Epoxy is more expensive, somewhat better. Tree resin is reputedly
excellent but very hard to find. Avoid Bondo brand sold in auto parts stores.
Sources for resin include: Lowe's, Home Depot, boat and marine supply, auto
parts shops.
Metal shavings. Aluminum is easiest to find and works very
well. Look for nice springy spirals. Don't use particles that are too small,
like key filings. Copper brass shavings are also very good. Do not use ferrous
metals, like iron or steel wool. Sources for metal shavings include sign shops,
machine shops, metal salvage operations.
Quartz crystals, at least 1/2
inch long or longer. Quartz crystals can be cloudy, cracked and funky - there is
no need to use expensive crystals (unless you are making a very special device).
To build the original HHG, you will need five crystals at least one inch long. A
good source for bulk crystals is http://www.jimcolemancrystals.com/.

Optional ingredients. You can further boost the power of your device by
adding certain minerals and gems. Favorites include: pyrite dust, rough garnets,
citrine, amethyst, hematite beads, malachite, etc.
Plastic pitcher. A
cheap one, 1/2 gallon size, to mix resin in.
Stirring stick.
Graduated cylinder. For measuring hardener in milliliters. You can
usually find these in the drug store, sold to measure small quantities of baby
medicine.
Protective rubber gloves. Keeps the resin off your hands.
Appropriate molds. Funnels, yogurt cups, wax paper cups all work fine.
(Do not use plastic that is too thin, which can melt when the resin heats up).
Other popular shapes are pyramids, cylinders, wands, etc. Be creative!
Mold lubricant. Any cheap vegetable oil works well, as does non-stick
cooking spray (PAM).
PROCEDURE:
1. Lubricate the molds. If
you are using a funnel mold, set it point down in a jar or can.
2. Fill the
mold 1/3 or so full of metal shavings. Set a crystal in the shavings with the
point facing downwards.
3. Pour one quart of resin into the mixing pitcher.
Add the appropriate amount of hardener. Use a stick to MIX WELL! A couple
hundred stirs is not too much. However, do not stir so much that many air
bubbles appear - air bubbles trapped in the resin mixture can compromise the
power of the device. Note that once you add the hardener, the clock is ticking
and the mixture will harden within anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes.
4. Pour resin slowly into the mold to the top of the metal shavings. Wait a
minute while the air bubbles rise to the surface.
5. Add more metal
shavings. Also add any adjuncts, like pyrite, hematite, etc.
6. Pour more
resin to cover. The idea is to pour in successive layers, adding shavings,
minerals and more crystals. If making a Holy Hand Grenade, in the last layer,
arrange four crystals like a cross, at 90 degree angles to one another, but not
touching; perpendicular to the center crystal.
7. Top off with shavings and
resin.
At this point, stand back. The resin will eventually get hot, and
then harden. As soon as the mixture hardens, the device is functional. Leave in
the mold until cool, then remove from mold.
Wipe the device with a damp
cloth. You can now paint it, decorate it, coat it with polyurethane for a
sealed, shiny finish, or leave it alone - it will work just as well either way.
NOTES:
- Uncured resin emits toxic fumes - work in a ventilated
workshop area, preferably outdoors. You probably do not want to do this in your
living space.
- Follow directions closely for mixing resin - be as
precise as you can.
-After the mix is hardened, it may still smell for a
few days - leave in the basement, outdoors, in the garage, etc. - eventually the
smell will dissipate.
Place finished devices in living spaces, work
spaces, in the car, under the bed, in gardens, rivers, streams, and lakes - any
body of water, really - along ley lines, vortexes, or near sources of deadly
orgone (DOR) - anyplace where an orgone field is desired (in other words,
everywhere!), or where DOR exists. Devices can be buried shallowly or set on the
ground. Simply put, place a device any place where you want to change bad
vibrations into good vibrations.
